Cheer and Football Age Groups
Your child's league age is determined by his/her age on July 31st of the season year
 
Cheer Ages (NMYAC)
  Our Junior Cheer and Cheer programs are comprised of age groups called Divisions.  
5 and 6 year olds are Junior Cheerleaders
7 year olds to 14 year olds are considered Cheerleaders
Any Junior cheerleader or Cheerleader can cheer for any of the below age groups
 
Football Ages (NMYAFL)
  Our NFL Flag Flag and Tackle Football leagues are comprised of age groups called Divisions.  
5 and 6 year olds are Midgets (6U) ( NFL Flag Flag Football Only )
7 year olds are Mighty Mites (7U) ( Tackle Football )
8 year olds are Pee Wees (8U) ( NFL Flag Flag and Tackle Football Only )
9 year olds are Rookies (9U) ( Tackle Football Only )
10 year olds are Freshman (10U) ( NFL Flag Flag and Tackle Football Only )
11 year olds are Sophomores (11U) ( Tackle Football Only )
12 year olds are Juniors (12U) ( NFL Flag Flag and Tackle Football Only )
13 and 14 year olds are Seniors/Varsity (14U) ( NFL Flag Flag and Tackle Football Only )
